New This Year:
An In-Person CoP Experience We've heard you, CoP participants have asked for the chance to meet in person, and this year, we're making that happen. A new in-person Communities of Practice session is being held during the WHSA Annual Training Conference in February as part of Monday's programming.
We built it into the Conference because that's where hundreds of Head Start and Early Head Start professionals from across the state already come together — rather than asking programs to send staff to a second in-person event, we found a way to layer this new experience into a trip you may already be planning.
Because it's tied to Conference attendance, it isn't included in standard CoP registration — CoP registration still includes full access to all virtual programming throughout the year, just as it always has. To join the in-person session, you'll need a Monday Day Pass, full Conference registration, or the 25th Anniversary Learning Bundle → a discounted package that combines full CoP registration with Conference registration, so you get virtual sessions before and after the conference and the in-person CoP experience on Monday.
